NEW DELHI: Vasudha has successfully undergone a Cochlear implant at the premier AIIMS institute on December 14th, her father Vikram Rawat told HimVani.

The surgery took four hours. She was taken to the operation theatre at 8:30 am and brought back at 2:50 pm. According to the doctors, the “operation was successful”.

The operation was performed by Dr. R.C. Deka, Head of ENT Dept, AIIMS and his team. Vasudha is likely to be discharged from AIIMS on Thursday, December 21.

Thanking the supporters and the contributions made by volunteers and the media, Mr Rawat said, I am very grateful to all friends and associates for  their moral and financial support to accomplish the surgery.
